Summer Solstice

Summer solstice is here! It's time to celebrate sun's light and warmth as we transition to summer.

Just as winter is a time to go within, summer invites us out to play. This is a time for creativity and producing, for being an active co-creator in life. We are all learning to be our own authority so we can live more expansively and be true co-creators. We *are* the ones we've been waiting for. This is a time to identify what no longer serves us and to free ourselves from old beliefs and ways of being. Offer these to the sun, allow fire to transform them!

When we connect with the earth and her seasons, we can align with the energies already present and flow with them. We can experience a deeper connection to ourselves. Simple ways of honoring the transition of seasons can bring us back to center, ground us and help us better connect to ourselves and to spirit.

Not sure what to do?

• Take a deep breath, on the exhale allow your awareness to drop into your heart space.
• Ask the question: how can I honor this transition of seasons?
• Sit in the silence. Notice any image, thought, felt sense, sensation that arises.

Simple!

Today we have a glorious day in San Francisco and I'm offering the music of my drum to welcome summer. I'm so grateful for this time of year. I can feel the air pregnant with possibilities.

So - in summary:
Create! Give form to what you've been dreaming.
Let go! Make choices that offer your heart and mind more freedom, softness and opening.
Honor! Honor whatever is important to you in a way that feels right.
Nurture! Nurture yourself so that you may nurture others.
